We hired Colibri to reface our kitchen cabinets in a 100+ year-old house. I love home design and had a ton of random ideas from AD and HGTV, but Maurice (the designer) helped me pull it all together in a way that made sense and still fit the style of the house. Erick (project manager) was great with the crew and made sure everything ran smoothly. They even refinished our old floors when other companies just wanted to rip them out and replace them. That alone says a lot. They also came up with a super smart way to add a laundry area under the stairs and added four big, beautiful doors that match the kitchen perfectly. The mix of old and new feels just right — it’s classic but fresh. They even turned a leftover piece of stone into a rounded bookshelf where an awkward built-in used to be, and it looks like it’s always been there. Best part? It’s been a year, I have two teenagers, and the cabinets still look amazing — not a single scratch. These guys really know what they’re doing. So glad we chose them.

Erick Chavez and Maurice Velez were excellent in designing and renovating our kitchen and three bathrooms. First, they carefully listened to us, so they knew our preferences. Knowing these preferences, they designed and created perfect living spaces that captured our desires aligned with our needs perfectly, because they listened so well to us. Many high level designers/renovators have great reputations, but want to design what they want, not what the client wants. Maurice and Erick were totally responsive in designing and producing what we wanted. All the spaces work great for us. We continue to enjoy their attention to detail and the pride they take in their work because they created rooms for us. Each room exceeded our expectations.

We recently had our kitchen remodeled by Colibri, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. The whole process was smooth and incredibly efficient. Their designer brought a wealth of ideas to the table—many of which we hadn’t even considered—and helped us find the perfect balance of style and function. The crew was professional, courteous, and impressively tidy, leaving the space clean at the end of each workday, which made a big difference since we were living in the house during the renovation. The quality of the work is top-notch, and we couldn’t be happier with the final result. Highly recommend them for anyone looking to remodel!

Erick and Maurice have started a new remodeling business. They came over and did a few small repairs in our bathroom. They were very efficient, friendly, reasonable prices and responsive. They know their business and are happy to help with anything you need no matter how big or small. They have practical solutions and great follow-through. My husband and I highly recommend the Colibri business.

Erick and his crew with Colibri really went the extra mile in quickly getting my mom’s oak floor repaired after there was water damage to a small area of her hallway and bedroom. His crew scheduled the repair almost immediately, arrived on time, cleaned up thoroughly and was finished well within the estimated time. We’re really happy with the results and I’d recommend them to anyone. The floor looks great! They also noticed and fixed one other minor issue in my mom’s house at no charge - this was easy and quick to address, but might have cost a whole heck of a lot if it hadn’t been caught!
