Sorin and his crew completed an extreme makeover to our beautiful home. The project was finalized in almost 4 months. His designer/architect was a real problem-solver and a very talented designer, and she helped us with city permits. The crew was just amazing to work with; responsive and easy going, always on time, and eager to please. Sorin was also a fantastic problem-solver—we received good advice, and the overall cost was more than reasonable. We are happy we decided to work with him, and we are happy to recommend him.

Sorin and his team recently replaced our rotted balcony with a beautiful new steel and redwood deck. It was a challenging project with very difficult access to the work site, cumbersome and heavy steel beam and posts, and of course the chaos of a global pandemic. Sorin was creative in solving any problems that arose and very collaborative working with us, including making a number of keen suggestions that directly improved the project. His team has a wide variety of skills and great senses of humor, we were very lucky to find Sorin and his crew, highly professional, great communication, and all-around top level craftsmanship and construction knowledge. I'll certainly be looking to Feraru & Associates first for all future remodeling projects.

I highly recommend Feraru & Associates for renovation projects. I worked with Sorin + Valeriu for a few months on a kitchen remodel in my home in Berkeley, along with an architect that I hired as well. I evaluated a few firms in the area and chose Sorin based on his work nearby and his professionalism in talking about the needs of this particular project, and the competitiveness of his bid. Valeriu and his crew did excellent work and were extremely professional in the several weeks that they were in the house. They answered every one of my questions or concerns promptly and professionally. They also managed me, letting me know when materials were needed or where there were gaps in my specifications or other "uh-ohs" that came up in the work. I'd definitely work with them again for remodel work, and would recommend you do, too.
