We used HDR for a down-to-the-studs kitchen and bathroom remodel and couldn’t be happier. Our designers, Kendall and Gia came up with a creative plan that gave us more room and a completely updated look and feel while maintaining our house’s footprint. They listened to our desire to use the most eco friendly materials that we could afford. Kendall, the lead designer for our project, offered just the right amount of suggestions for colors, finishes, lighting and other materials without overwhelming us. She was always responsive to texts and emails and maintained transparency throughout the process. Our project manager, Wilson was also excellent. He was supportive and helpful as we managed to donate our old appliances. He was completely responsive to texts and questions. He was always communicative regarding the status and schedule of the project. He is a brilliant craftsmen, evidenced by his impeccable workmanship. While there were a few small glitches along the way, as there always are with larger projects, they were handled and resolved in a timely and open manner. HDR maintains a policy to complete the design phase and obtain all of the materials before a hammer touches a wall. While this takes time and lots of planning, it assures that the work phase of the project goes smoothly with minimal delays, such as waiting for materials to arrive, etc. The team at HDR was excellent for us and for our project. We love living in our beautifully remodeled home and recommend the company. Thank you Kevin and Kendall and Wilson!

HDR was truly an amazing company to partner with on our home addition project. They were on time, on schedule, and on budget - super rare in this space. The design is exactly what we envisioned and couldn't have been better, and the build team executed it to spec. The addition is top quality and we are so thrilled with it!

I couldn't be more happy with the work that was done on my house by HDR, which included moving the kitchen to a different area of the house to make it bigger and also enlarging a bedroom. Their design idea was great and a big improvement on what I had originally planned. Working with Andres (Sensitive Information HIdden), the project manager, was the lease stressful experience during a remodel I've ever had despite this being the largest project I have done thus far. They were able to keep within budget and I had absolute confidence they would take care of everything in a timely fashion. I highly recommend them, if you want a stress free and quality remodel work.

Total redo of the only bathroom in the house - 8 weeks without a toilet/shower...they were sensitive to the issue and got it done on time - even with a 2 week Covid delay in the house. They were professional, very communicative and responsive to our comments from the design phase through the construction phase. We intend to use them again for our next house project.

HDR helped us remodel our kitchen and two bathrooms. They were extremely professional and responsive throughout the whole process and did a beautiful job. They are a design-build firm meaning that they handle everything in-house - they employ both the architects and the contractors. They project manage everything. The whole schedule, all parts, all subcontractors, are all handled for you. Our architect, Milton, was great to work with - very responsive to our needs and vision for what the spaces should look like. He did a lot of research for us and always presented various options for how to accomplish the look we wanted - and at various price points. He helped us make all the big and small design decisions. Our contractor, Alberto, was amazing. We met weekly to review progress and answer any questions. Any problems we noticed or things we wanted changed were handled promptly. Even our neighbors noticed how prompt and hard-working our crew was. These are not the typical contractors where you mentally double the estimates they give you for project completion. They estimated 4 months for our project and finished 2 weeks early. I think you pay a premium for such a high-touch service and so you may take the gamble for someone cheaper who may or may not be as reliable, honest, or hard-working. But if you want the peace of mind for a project that will be on time, on budget, and high quality, HDR is a great option. I highly recommend them!
