Moraes Construction did a major remodel of our 1914 home before we moved in.  They completed a new kitchen, bathroom, removed a wall, refinished floors and foundation work.  Anderson and his team did a fanstastic job.  Time and attention were spent to have things done correctly with quality work.  Anderson has a calm and professional style that helps when tackling big projects.    He also provided us wonderful design advice when configuring our kitchen and picking out flooring. Anderson Moraes has been the general contractor with me on two new construction residential projects as well as a gut renovation of an existing house. I’m an architect that’s done several projects in east bay and worked with many contractors, often on fairly tight budgets. Anderson is one of the only contractors I’ve hired repeatedly as he’s easy to work with, attentive to details, and I appreciate that not only can he oversee complex projects, but he also has a furniture shop and is able to fabricate items for the interiors. It’s rare to find a contractor that will take on small to mid size residential projects at competitive prices that’s also willing to take on furniture scale interior work.
